What You Will Learn
Over the course of 8 weeks, you'll build a strong foundation in guitar through hands-on practice and guided instruction.
You'll learn:
Guitar fundamentals
Basic chords and smoother chord transitions
Rhythm, timing, and strumming patterns
Introductory music reading
Simple songs and song structure
The confidence to continue practicing and playing on your own
Each week's lesson builds on the last, helping you make steady progress alongside the same small group.
Meet Your Instructor
Robert Badillo is a Rio Grande Valley musician with more than 20 years of guitar experience. He currently performs with Tejano artist Magali DeLaRosa and creates original music through his project, Mellowdrama.
After years of teaching private lessons, Robert is excited to bring his passion for guitar to Casa Vibra. His patient, beginner-friendly approach makes this 8-week series a welcoming place for adults learning guitar for the first time or returning after years away.
